Sugar Cookie

Stella has been begging me for the last few weeks to make sugar cookies. No particular reason. She just likes the whole process of making the dough, rolling it out, punching out the shapes, baking them, frosting and shaking sprinkles on them. So, we embarked on that journey this weekend.

You are such a good mom. I feel guilty just reading this post and seeing the pictures. I hate making cookies - and I feel like my kids are getting ripped off because I never do that with them. Thankfully, Matt does it on occasion, but I'm the worst cookie mom ever. The mess causes me too much stress, and so does the closet eating I do once they are made! (ha ha!) Anyway, I think you're an awesome mom and your kids are lucky to have you!

Looks like she had a lot of fun, and her cookies turned out so cute. Your such a good mom to do that with her. My kids are always wanting to make cookies, and I think do I really want the big mess? No, but it's all about spending time with them and helping them to learn. Love the pictures you took.

The cookies look great - -and I loved the pic of Stella on her tippy-toes trying to reach the counter top. Love it!
