Pregnancy Yoga

Whenever I get pregnant, I always forget about the bodily pains pregnancy causes until I start getting the pains all over again. One of the pains I always seem to get has to do with my bladder. I know it's gross, but I know I'm not the only pregnant lady out there with bladder pains. So today as I was having an episode and hunched over in pain, my friend started showing me all these yoga poses she would do when she was pregnant to help alleviate body pain. And they were helpful advice. I need to pull out all my prenatal yoga video and start using them. And I need to start staying away from dairy especially during midnight snacking.

  1. I always forget what it's like to be pregnant when I'm normal, and never remember how it feels to be normal when I'm pregnant. Glad you figured out something that works!

  2. I loved doing yoga when pregnant and now. Although when pregnant the modifications became more and more simple as I got bigger and bigger. It made me feel like I wasn't progressing.

  6. I LOVE doing yoga when I'm pregnant. The stretching alone just does wonders for the body and mind! I had to quit four weeks ago, boo! I can't wait to get started again after I have this baby!

  9. Ick - I hated all those pregnancy pains. With Ella, I SWORE she was going to fall out at any given moment! OUCH! I don't think I ever experienced bladder pains, but they do not sound fun. Good luck!
