Christmas

We had a mellow Christmas this year. It was nice and quiet and focused on the children. On Christmas Eve, we went and handed out goody plates around the neighborhood. Then we did our first nativity scene re-inactment with the children. They had so much fun dressing up, especially Stella who played Mary. Afterward we warmed up with hot chocolate by the fire and the kids opened up their pajama presents. On Christmas morning, it was a joy watching the children's eyes light up as they ran down the stairs to see all the presents. They played with their toys all day and refused to leave the house. It made the afternoon quite relaxing since they were busy entertaining themselves. Seth cooked us Christmas dinner.
