Circus Party

We went to THE cutest circus birthday party this weekend that my girlfriend Lindsey put on for her three-year-old son. The party was so creatively put together. Once all the party decorations were up, her backyard became a real circus (minus the animals, of course). My kids had a blast. Here are a few favorites.


Popcorn Cupcakes--made with marshmallows!


Homemade caramel popcorn. This stuff was SO good and highly addictive.



Lindsey made the tissue paper streamers and then tied it to a string with PVC pipes and rebar.


Birthday cake--to make it look like a cupcake bottom she used a hard chocolate shell.

Loved these centerpieces!! She used a styrofoam ball and placed it in the plastic popcorn holder then and stuck lollipops and sugar sticks in them. And glued taffy to cover all the Styrofoam. I really wanted to take one home.
