Earth Day

Happy Earth Day! This year we've made the effort to teach Stella and Lucas about being kind to the earth. We've planted seeds. We've recycled. We went to the nature center and learned how to make kites and boats out of recycled items. We went hiking in one of the nature preserves. And when we go on walks around the neighborhood, we pick up trash (not one of my favorite things to do, but Stella insists). Oh, and I'm not allowed to kill any bugs or spiders in the house or else I will hear an ear full.
