Monster Truck Invites

I've finally gotten around to throwing a birthday party for Lucas. His big day was a month ago. We were traveling, and there was no celebration. He didn't even have a cake. I probably would of moved on with life, but he still thinks he is two and there is no convincing that he is three unless there is a party. That's how we roll. There's always a big hoopla for everything. So, he has chosen yet again a car party, but more specifically a monster truck party. Here are the invites. Designed in photoshop. I accidently bought folded cards instead of envelopes, so instead of returning I glued two edges to create a pouch envelope. I think they came out cute.

  1. yes, I loved that he was in denile of his age already at only 3. "NO I'm two!" wish I could do that sometimes.

i loved the kitchen incident, the first and hopefully not the last time we confused the poor boy.

  3. You ARE amazing. How do you do it?!

I feel guilty, too. For two years in a row both Liv and Henry have gotten the shaft when it came to their birthdays. Henry has never even opened a birthday gift or blown out candles. I feel bad!

Maybe I will do a party for Liv after all. Her birthday was only three weeks ago... Hmmm... If Darleen can do it, so can I!

  6. Hi Darleen,

Do you still have a copy of this invite saved? If so, would you be willing to send it to me? I too have a son obseesed with monster trucks, and these will be perfect. I'd be happy with JPEP or PSD...whatever form you have.
BTW, this is Scharee Bergstrom. It seems like a lifetime since we were in CT. It looks like your doing fabulous!
    Thanks!
