Surprise Party

While we were in Salt Lake I threw a surprise birthday party for Seth, since his family and close friends would all be in town during his special day. It was so fun surprising him--he had no idea! Since I was traveling it was a little hard doing party decorations and planning logistics, but we ended up having it at a park so our children could be involved and entertained. And, so we could play a nice sweaty game of Ultimate Frisbee (one of Seth's favorite). I ended up catering the party with Alberto's Mexican food. He was pretty stoked when I told him what we were eating. No joke--he would fly to Salt Lake and back just to eat one of their carne asada burritos. While I was in Vegas, my brother had a button machine so I made a ton of "Seth" buttons for all the guests. That was a hit. I also made up a fun questionnaire about Seth but completely forgot to hand it out. It turned out great and he had fun.
