Need Some Help

I'm on the countdown for when this baby arrives. But I could use some help. We have NO idea what to name this child. We've tossed around some names but nothing is grabbing us. And I thought girl names were easy. Care to share with me some of your favorite baby girl names?

  1. Yay girls names! I'm having a boy in 3 months and am totally stumped. But I've got girl names out the wazoo.

    Cora
    Alice
    Violet
    Penelope (nickname Nellie)
    Viola
    Jane
    Ruby
    Margaret (I adore Meg)
    Rosie / Rosa / Rose
    Flora
    Celia (go Shakespeare)
    Lucy
    Nora (or Eleanor)
    Nina
    Mathilda
    Miriam
    Lila

Hmm, turns out I like really girly names. Maybe that's why this boy's being so much trouble. I did shell out $12 to have access to the "expert baby namer" on babynamewizard.com and have really like it so far. Also love nameberry.com

For Laura, Good Luck on naming that boy. I had a hard time also. We chose Logan and Barrett

  7. Thanks so much for the name suggestions! You guys are awesome. We've added Penelope to our list (although my friend just named her daughter Penelope, but at the same time she just moved away from me...can I get away with that name?). And we added Matilda and Juliet. Love the name Josie and Annabel. It's just hard to get the husband to agree.

  12. My mother's name is Lila and I love it. She is the only person I have met with that name and it's simple and graceful. Oh, Julienne and Marley are cute for girls too.

  13. Darleen - take a page from your hair-envy actress and think about what she named her daughter - Hazel. I have always loved that name. :)
